With roots in Cleveland, OH, Virginia Beach, VA & Boone, NC, Tall Paul found himself in Nashville, TN, a city which is known for Country music but actually is a really good home base for musicians of any stripe, particularly American roots music like Jazz, Blues, Rock and country’s cousin, Bluegrass. Kristie’s roots are in Nashville so it’s no surprise that she’d be at home making music which is as eclectic as the city itself. The duo’s live shows have become something of legend across the southeast. They’ve shared stages of various sizes and are equally at home in honky tonks and bars as they are on festival stages. They redefined themselves even further when the pandemic shut the world down and Tall Paul & Kristie wrote & recorded a new album of original songs. They also created a weekly Facebook Live show. This show, which is still going strong after over 4 years, has grown their fan base as they showcase their talents worldwide.
Outside of their partnership as Tall Paul & Kristie, both artists have and continue to work in other venues. Tall Paul has recorded several albums in various ensembles and as a solo artist where he’s landed on “best of” lists alongside Nashville-based stalwarts John Hiatt and Jonell Mosser. Kristie Bobal has recorded as both a solo artist and as 1/3 of the trio Girlz Rule. Kristie‘s solo album is aptly titled Blissful Magic Moment.
