Days 1–2: Edinburgh — The City of Hidden Doors & Whispered Legends

Base: Edinburgh- This ancient city is filled with wonder, hidden passages, and lingering mysteries. Much of its charm lies within the narrow alleyways and weathered cobblestone streets that wind through the Old Town. Edinburgh is a city of hills, and over the course of our two days we shall cover much ground on foot — so sturdy shoes and a spirited constitution will serve us well. Consider it part of the adventure… and perhaps a fine excuse to grow a bit fitter along the way.

Enter the Maze

• Arrive in Edinburgh like you’ve been summoned. The streets don’t just wind… they conspire.
• Drift along the Royal Mile, slipping into narrow closes where the air turns cooler and stories get darker.
• A walking tour like none other. We’ll drift beneath the shadow of Edinburgh Castle, where volcanic stone rises like a fortress from another age and the city feels suspended between centuries. The air carries rain on stone, chimney smoke, and coffee drifting from hidden closes. Edinburgh is best explored slowly — like an old Gothic novel — through winding alleys, candlelit taverns, ancient bells, and sudden views over mist-covered rooftops.
• Descend into Mary King’s Close, a buried world where time didn’t quite move on.
• Hungry anyone? A group dinner in our hotel will cater to all our fancies.

Nightfall: The Initiation

• Your first pub night isn’t just drinks… it’s initiation. Music spills out, strangers become allies, and suddenly you’re part of the story 🎻

Day 2: Heights, Hideaways & Highland Spirits

• March up to Edinburgh Castle as if you’re here to reclaim something long lost. Every stone feels like it’s watching.
• Step inside St Giles’ Cathedral… where silence feels ancient and heavy with secrets

Evening

• A roaming night of music where each pub feels like a secret level you weren’t supposed to find.

Day 3: Edinburgh → Fort Augustus — Into the Wild Unknown

• Step into legend at Midhope Castle… familiar, yet eerie.
• Stand before The Kelpies. Not statues. Sentinels. Waiting.
• Then it changes. The road pulls you into Glencoe… vast, moody, and impossibly quiet.
• Walk along Loch Ness at dusk. The surface ripples. You watch it back.

Night

• Fireside stories where truth and myth blur just enough to keep you listening.

Day 4: Steam, Smoke & Spellbound Tracks

• Board the Jacobite Steam Train. This isn’t transport… it’s a moving portal.
• Cross the Glenfinnan Viaduct as the world opens wide beneath you.
• Mountains loom, lochs flicker past… reality loosens its grip.

Evening

• Fort William hums with energy. Music, laughter, and the sense the night might go anywhere.

Day 5: Northbound — Where Maps Start to Fade

• Head north into Scotland’s untamed edges. Fewer signs. More sky.
• Cliffs plunge into the Atlantic, waves crashing like a warning… or a welcome.
• Ferry from Scrabster to Stromness, but our home for the next 3 nights will be in Kirkwall, Orkney Islands

Arrival

• A harbour that feels like a secret kept between the sea and the wind.

Days 6 & 7: Orkney — Where Time Breaks and Mysteries Linger

Here, time doesn’t pass… it circles.

• Walk into Skara Brae. A 5,000-year-old village that refuses to fade.
• Stand within the Ring of Brodgar. The silence presses in. Something ancient hums beneath your feet.
• Enter Maeshowe… where Vikings left messages, and something older still lingers.
• Feel the Atlantic rage at Yesnaby Cliffs. Wild, untamed, unforgettable.
• Discover the fragile beauty of Italian Chapel… proof that even here, humanity leaves its mark.
• Wander through St Magnus Cathedral, towering and timeless.

Nights

• Music sessions that feel like you’ve stumbled into a hidden world.
• Laughter, stories, and that quiet thought… maybe we don’t leave.

Day 8: Return — But Not Quite the Same

• Sail back. Roll into Inverness.
• Slow evening. Let everything settle… or try to.

Days 9 & 10: Echoes of Battles & Ancient Power

• Explore Inverness, a city that feels calm… until you listen closely.
• Cruise Loch Ness. Do you see ripples in the water, can you see Nessie?
• Wander Urquhart Castle, where ruins hold onto their stories.

Then the air shifts…

• Walk Culloden Battlefield. The silence here speaks.
• Stand among Clava Cairns… ancient, still, and quietly powerful.
• A full day to roam freely. Or rest. Or chase one more hidden corner.

• One last night of music, stories, and a send-off that feels earned.

Days 11 & 12: Pitlochry-

Pitlochry, the enchanting “Gateway to the Scottish Highlands,” is a picturesque Victorian town tucked between the shadow of Ben Vrackie and the winding River Tummel. Surrounded by misty hills and dramatic Highland landscapes, it is famed for the remarkable Pitlochry Dam & Salmon Ladder, the renowned Festival Theatre, and a deep-rooted whisky heritage that lingers in the air like a Highland tale. A place of beauty, legend, and quiet mystery, Pitlochry captures the very spirit of Scotland.

The Journey South

• Stop at Glenfiddich Distillery for a tour and wee dram— where whisky has been crafted in the same valley since 1887. We will follow the ancient path of whisky-making, from pure spring water and malted barley to the warm washbacks, gleaming copper stills, and the silent oak warehouses where time and patience shape every cask. Steeped in generations of family tradition, the journey concludes with a tasting of the finest Speyside single malt whisky.
• Wander, linger, let time stretch.
• Enter The Hermitage…a spellbinding Highland forest where towering ancient trees, misty paths, and the roaring River Braan create an atmosphere of pure enchantment. Hidden waterfalls, moss-covered bridges, and the mysterious Ossian’s Hall make it feel like a place lifted from a forgotten fairytale — wild, magical, and utterly unforgettable.
• And now to explore Pitlochry- An afternoon in Pitlochry drifts like a Highland dream — winding woodland paths, whispering rivers, mist above Loch Faskally, and the warm glow of old inns where stories linger long after dusk.

And in the evening

The Enchanted Forest- Step into Luminara, where the ancient forest and modern wonder exist in delicate harmony. Beneath the glowing canopy of Faskally Wood, nature pulses with hidden energy, light flows like living magic, and the old world meets the new.
