Trish and Geoff Horrocks hail from Vancouver Island, BC (Canada), where they teach and perform a wide range of fiddle styles from around the globe. Geoff has spent many years accompanying some of Canada’s most renowned fiddle players including Patti Kusturok, Gordon Stobbe, Shane Cook and Calvin Vollrath. He teaches fiddle, piano and guitar and has a special talent for guiding adult students. Trish is also a passionate educator, and she absolutely loves creating new opportunities for people to make music in a collaborative setting. Although they work together well overall, they don’t agree on absolutely everything: Geoff is a lover of traditional old-time Canadian dance music while Trish is absolutely in love with the fiddle styles of Quebec. Together Geoff and Trish have won several awards in recognition of their fiddle education work, including a Canadian Folk Music Award in 2022. After having experienced the Wild Atlantic Way with Saundra and Tommy in the fall of 2024, they are thrilled to be coming back to Ireland for more wonderful tunes, breathtaking scenery, and new friendships.
